BTW, here's the vag-com error msg I get regarding to my parktronic system and also I hear one long beep (~3 seconds) when I put the car in reverse:

01548 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Right (G206)
009 - Open or Short to Ground
Freeze Frame:

Woohoo success!!!

I recoded everything and even changed the WSC field then for some reason my laptop died

When I turned it back on the code was 00000 so I unplugged the vag com and after plugging it back in the 'good' codes were there. I then turned on the car and bam I can visually see the parktronic. I do notice the right rear sensor is not active but I have a fault on it and will be removing the sensor to check it out. I think I can get to it without removing the bumper.

No the second one will not have graphic ability, here's the breakdown:

4F0 910 283 - 4 sensors, no graphical support
4F0 910 283 A - 4 sensors, no graphical support
4F0 910 283 B - 4 sensors, graphical support
4F0 910 283 C - 8 sensors, graphical support
4F0 910 283 D - 4 sensors, graphical support

You can buy the units direct from the likes of genuineaudiparts.com or through classifieds and eBay or the junkyard.

You may need to update the mmi depending on the version.

As for the 'K' part. I have no idea if that will work

I had the 4E0 919 283 B / 4E0 910 283 A and it did not support graphic, it is the "C" that started with graphical support.

i do not remember it requiring latest version MMI...this the 1st i hear of this...i was running the latest version so i can not say for sure

it is in excellent shape ...works great..only reason i am selling it is bc i trade in the car and i figured i would help someone

since i already used VCDS to code it...u may not need to do this step... TBMK all u have to do is swap this one in the trunk .. REAL EASY! .. plug n play

its the 1st and 2nd version that do not work .. 1st version is blank (4F0 910 283) and 2nd version is version (4F0 910 283 A)... that may be where the confusion starts...I have a version B and it works perfectly ...that said .. there was some online w B that said it didnt work.. not sure y

BUT i just noticed your part number is 4E not 4F ..i had a A6 version and you had A8 version...maybe that also matters

i highly doubt it.. heres why
1- K is too high a version... it may be for MMI 3G
2- It is higher then E ... E is for camera not graphic
3- plus.. i have heard that the 8 sensor units need to be avoided also.. the 8 sensors version REQUIRES the car to use front sensors.. it will work if u plan on modding sensors in the front
