So, i need a new rear wiper...

I've checked online and found old threads by DTH

"Aero Rear Wiper Conversion for the B5 A4/S4 and C6 A6 Avant"

including

Rear Aero Wiper Arm
Aero Wiper Blade
Body Gasket
Replacement Self Locking Attachment Nut
New Cover Cap

DTH is now dead, so i checked on ECS and found this for the C5 A4 (and if i'm refering to the DTH thread, C5 A4/S4 and C6 A6 Avant are the same)

Ok, so finally i did order from Germany

OEM audi for A6 C6 Avant

Cap : 8K9 955 205
Blade : 8K9 955 425
Arm : 8K9 955 407 1P9

Cool cheap upgrade!

Not installed yet, too cold outside, and the mk1 caddy is taking all the available space during winter time

So, did you order the one from ECS or another source. The one pictured above is left sided vs the right sided arm on our C6's. Thinking that would be a no go... I got the one from DTH back in the day for my B5 Avant and it really cleaned up the hatch on mine and looked much cleaner than my old set-up.

Krustyx, did this work out for you? I went with the VW MKV set-up and had to modify the cap to fit better, the blade is an inch and a half shorter than the origional. Can you post a picture once installed?

i did try to remove my wiper yesterday and its jammed there... i might have to head the shaft. I did also break the ceramic look a like part that goes in the trunk... I did try it yesterday.

More infos soon.

I removed the lock nut and put some (very little) PB Blaster in there to soak for a bit. You really have to use a lot of force/pull to remove the arm.

Be careful... Duh...

Old thread but same questions...Has anybody done this conversion on an C6 A6? The eBay link no longer ships to the US and the ECS kit says only up to C5 but may still fit. Also the one on eBay points in the opposite direction, anybody have any new updates on doing this upgrade??

I've got the VW Golf MKV set-up on mine and it works just fine. Got mine from ECS a year or so ago. The wiper blade is maybe an inch short and will go with a slightly longer replacement blade from a Toureg on down the road.

Easy mod, happy I did it and it cleaned up the look of the hatch a bit.
