Default After break-in period...when does the engine really 'open up'
Sitting at about 1100 miles / 1800 kilometers. Pretty much a text book break-in. When did most of you find that the engine really opened up...after the first oil change?...after a certain number of miles? I know from last cars that it could take a couple thousand miles before the engine really finds its groove

I find 20,000 really lets her rip, even though we come in third against the 530i and M35.
