Hello all. I have a 2009 A6, Premium plus Audi with no built in navigation system. I was wondering if I can place factory navigation system, or if there is different aftermarket system that works with A6 Premium plus package. Your feed back is appreciated.

ps. trying to stay away from garmin and like systems.

I've always done the garmin route with lifetime maps and traffic (have 2)
Served well for years but thought we'd like the built in nav in the wife's Q.

She's now back to using the garmin in the car as the current nav system in the Q5 is useless as the maps are very outdated (at least in the DFW area)

I got a few android tablets that use google maps and is much more intuitive and works much better than the Q's - voice search and all...
considering a mounting option that won't be too horrible while awaiting on Audi's response to our many Nav map update questions...

If unhappy with nav that comes with the Audi, are there any other in dash nav? And what is a good portable navigation unit that you would recommend?
