will have to ask it in separate thread. I need to replace front pads and found a few choices (subject).
I was pretty happy with oem pads but would not mind a mild upgrade in stopping power. and I want normal street pads which stop when cold.
any advice on which to choose? I lean toward HPS or pagid.

Put the Akebonos on mine, and I'm also seeing far less brake dust... so happy, it was quite a task to clean the wheels every week.
Don't have hard numbers to share on braking capability vs. stock, but I can offer subjective comments: they have slightly softer pick-up vs. the OEMs, then are nice & progressive as you push harder on the pedal. I'd say they're at least as good as the OEMs, just without the brake dust!
