Hi all - I just ordered the parts for my '05 Audi A6 for the center console and door trim pieces in aluminum -- my pieces (which are now in the dark wood trim) already had significant wear and I'm taking the opportunity to switch them to aluminum.

I've never seen these pieces on an A6 before - anyone happen to have some pics? All I've seen are wood trim interiors...

Wow that looks great! Can i ask where you got the parts and about how much where they? The wood trim on my passenger side door is broken (the clips that hold it in are gone) and it comes loose every once in awhile. I was thinking about just replacing that piece, but a whole set of aluminum would look so much better.

They don't sell electronic start/stop C6-s in right-hand-drive countries? I thought that was standard on automatic C6 cars.

Yeah they do, just that it is an option, probably with comfort access??

I bought the set at AudiWholesaleParts.com - although you could also try GenuineAudiParts.com which is cheaper.

I got it from the former b/c their customer service was a tad better - they didnt have the parts in stock but were happy to place them on order for me. At Genuine I just got a flat out "we don't have it".

I'll post pics up once I'm done with the install - found a DIY out there and it doesn't seem too complicated...

Are you talking about the keyless go/stop?
Its an option called "advanced key" and doesnt come as standard on any trim levels

Just noticed I forgot to order the trim piece that goes on the passenger side dashboard - above the glove compartment. Can't find it online! Anyone know the name or part number of this piece?
