Default Anyone running aftermarket air filter...

(K&N or others)) Is it worth it? Does it void warranty?

Yes, increase air flow will give you a but more power...2-4hp...but at what cost.

Most aftermarket filters contain oils to catch the debris that flows through. But those oils also pass through to your MAF.

Your car is already efficient enough. I would not bother spending $40 for a $5 filter.

Default Unless you are running a turbo....

...it will not effect performance much. If you like the idea...then ask your dealer if it would void the warranty?

Default Yes, it does have a MAF sensor

Audi air intake tracts are very well designed. It's doubtful any aftermarket intake/filter would provide any consistently measurable performance increase. With many filters you trade off slightly higher air flow for significantly higher amounts of dirt ingested into the engine. Unless you are racing and like to rebuild engines, it's a pretty poor trade off in my estimation.
