car still drives but it seems like its in limp mode.computer reads gear ratio error.it has no power until I get up 20 to miles per hr.hesitates when putting it into gear automatic trans mission. it doesn't hesitate when its put in reverse but it use to last week I heard a noise and it started doing the opposite not going into forward gear.could be the trans sensor switch.

That doesn't sound like a happy transmission. Get a VCDS hooked up to it to check the tranny faults then it may be too late, but when was the last time you changed the tranny fluid and filter?

ty raj99 ill try that first I bought the car 6 months ago 137000 miles I doubt its ever been changed I took it to a shop the either steering angle sensor is not working but I believe that's not it because it was not working since I bought the car and it drove fine except for reverse.i think u might be right I replaced the spark plugs the day before and was romping on it when all of a sudden no power

That's usually a sign that the tranny is failing and you'll be needing a rebuild.
