I think that everything should be wise. and car wash too. You can damage the coating if you overdo it.

I can wash in my driveway faster than I can drive to the car wash and do it (it's about 5 miles). Quick rinse with a spray nozzle, then foam cannon, wash. I use a 'one-bucket, several wash mitts' method so I don't have to spend time rinsing the mitts. Then a quick dry with the leaf blower (2 min). Done. Every 2-3 washes I'll use Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine to keep up the coating so the water sheets off. That's my current method. I'm always looking for new ideas though.
