Yes, I drove a A6 for four years and it is a very reliable car. The new SC 3.0T looks good to me.

Default This should be a part of the message below duh!

Any given manufacturer can get a lemon. With Octoberfest, Friday afternoon builds, and that there are hundreds of suppliers that make components for Audi, you just never know.

Hope they also offer better financing terms than your deal two years ago?

to be rude: you would probably wear a shirt purchased with a stain on it because it doesn't bother you as it matches your pants and it's too much of a hassel to exchange it...

That shake is probably your secondary air intake. Same thing happens with our Q7 on cold days

that's an intelligent response. If you think that it's me that is a dimwitt for asking that the car be like they promised at the time of sale bite me. Sorry to rain on your Audi festival. I'd like to see you sit quietly with the sound of springs and pins rolling around your roof with each turn. You'd be pissed too. Maybe the car aint so bad and it's just a crappy service department because they do not have good reviews when you search them.

Default Give this guy a break people!

drjeffc,

Don't listen to the rude ones below. I'm sure they are all good guys/gals, but this forum is indeed an "Audi parade", one which I'm sure I'm shunned from now. Whatever will I do? I think you have every right to want your Audi to run the way it should. In my mind, an engine vibration is not a normal vibration, but an indicator of something very bad. I say good for you for sticking it to Audi....

I myself am in a similar position. I had an 08 with a very bad acceleration stutter/vibration when cold. After 1.5 months of attempted repairs, AoA replaced it with an 09, but the issue is twice as bad (CVT 3.2 fronttrack, not quattro which doesn't seem to have the issue). Nevertheless, they are in the midst of writing a software update and will see if that fixes it. If not, it's attorney time if needed, though AoA has been much more friendly and compliant than it appears they have been with you.

Obviously, you're a doctor and thus very intelligent. However, don't be afraid to get an attorney involved if needed.
