They don't offer phone support. It's now been six days since I reported the problem with the shipment and nothing is found (other than my message) in the messages section of their Website. If I don't hear from them by mid-day tomorrow (a week after I communicated with them about this problem) I will find some number to call them. It's pretty poor service to not respond to this issue by now.

That sucks. You could always contact your credit card company if you're unsuccessful getting them via telephone. That'll get their attention.

Yeah, I will go that road if I have to, but as I understand it, they just have a backlog of emails and are "good folk." That said, I'd like to get my car fixed!

I ended up calling them and left a voice mail. I was called back the within an hour or two and they shipped out a replacement part the same afternoon with a dispatch to FedEx to pick up the broken one. GREAT!

Slightly off topic, but what prompted you to order the $155 rear left light bank? Is that the tail lamp assembly or the light bulb harness?

I don't know about their Website, but they have provided good service.

As for the left light bank, the LEDs were defective. This caused the turn-signal and brake light to malfunction. There's a thread around here on that topic if you are having trouble with it.

sorry to hear the bad experiences with http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/pa...?siteid=214407

I personally have had nothing but success with them. Usually as soon as I place an order I will get an email saying when they expect the package to ship and soon after a tracking number. I have order the S6 bumper, coolant tank, etc from them. I just recently ordered the new Push start button..ordered on tuesday morning had a tracking number tuesday afternoon.

You might want to try my local dealership - they have an online store:

www.audiporschevwparts.com

their prices are slightly over genuineaudiparts.com - like 1%, but if you are looking to switch to another store, you do have choices.
