Battery Maintenance Recommendation!

I need to update the MMI and I hear that I need and battery maintenance connected to the car just in case. Any recommendation?

As far as I know, it is recommended that you hook up a battery charger to to your battery during the MMI update just in case the battery dies during the update (which would render your MMI system useless)
I did it without the battery charger (pretty risky) because I new my car battery was in good health and would last during the whole update.

how long does the battery usually lasts, cause sometimes , when i was my car i leave the radi on and stuff,, and afterwards i get a low battery warning. and i just replaced it ......

^ You need a "deep cycle" battery if you routinely intend to leave audio, etc. on for long periods of time without the engine/alternator recharging same. Optima Yellow Top is an oft used deep cycle type.
