Default Best mobile phone for integration with Audi MMI Bluetooth ?

I have tried getting my Nokia 6234 to fully integrate to the Audi MMI with little success. I can make and receive calls but I have no access to the phonebook, text messages, etc.

Has anyone got the 6234 to work with the MMI?

Any suggestions on a phone that would provide all the functionality you read about in the Audi manual, i.e. directory, phone book, text messages, etc. ?

Default Depends on your service provider, e.g., Verizon Wireless has pdf compatibility tables

I have Verizon with the LG-VX8300 which works just fine. I was able to down load my phone book into the MMI system. Only thing missing is the list of received calls and calls made.
I'm happy with the integration.
There is a list of compatable phones by carrier floating around here but I don't remember where it is.

Default Which MMI version are you running? Once I updated the MMi, all the Verizon phones I tried, even the

ones not on the list, worked fine. Including phonebook, memory, caller id, etc.

Default Text messages? Really? I have AT&T, Razr fully compatible except text messages,

iPhone fully compatible except text messages, Slvr the same, Sony Ericsson P910a I don't remember but pretty sure it was just bluetooth, no directory, no phone book but caller ID was working.

I'm happy with my LG VX8600. It does pretty much everything I need - including dialing, phone book, dialed called. Doesn't show missed calls.
