You only need 4 sensors, since the spare tire doesn't actually get picked.

Yes, they are the 'full kit'. I have 2 sets of these and they work great. You just go into the normal car -> setup to recognize the new set of wheels (TPMS) and that's it.
BTW, the chrome stem ones are only $156 for the whole set! Although I've never bought those and can only speak to the aluminum set of sensors, which have lasted fine so far with NO issues.
