Isn't the 5570 is EU Update? I know that 4140 isn't the latest US software but I can't recall which one is.

Yeah, sorry that was aimed at the OP, I should've stated that.

5570 is our final and last firmware update for the 2G system as the 3G is now being used.

Edit - I just noticed that this thread was started in 2007 and the 5570 firmware wasnt avaliable at that time so please ignore my question OP

So an MMI High upgrade to 5570 will get us birdseye view on 2G?

If you're in Europe, then yes. You may also lose the battery meter and the on-board-computer in the Car menu but these can be re-enabled through VCDS.
