No. If you don't have voice, you'll need to interact with either the MMI dial or the left thumbwheel to make and answer calls.
BTW, you can use the Verizon bluetooth phone (currently, the Motorola V710; coming soon the Motorola E815 and LG VX-8100); I haven't tried any of the convergent devices such as the Treo 650 or Samsung i730). The drawbacks to the V710 are (1) it only pairs about 70% of the time without a reboot (of either the phone or the car) and (2) there is no phonebook functionality. I'd expect the first to be remedied in the newer phones; the second may be a lost cause since Verizon disables OBEX.

If you actually want to use all the features of the phone with your Audi... then do not use a Verizon phone. I just switched from Verizon to Cingular (for NO other reason then Verizon is ripping people off who buy their "bluetooth" phones) then got the Motorola V551 and it worked immediately and every function was enabled.
Verizon has crippled their phones due to corporate greed masked as protecting their third party vendors copyrights. Yeah ok.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Verizon happens to have the best coverage here in DC, and that's primary for me. If, when I change jobs this fall, my employer gives me a convergent device on T-Mob or Cingular, I'll make sure what I get is full-featured, and probably port my number over.
If I weren't in the middle of a two-year contract, I'd probably port to Cingular now--my military discount would be much bigger over there.

I did some research on this over the web and someone with an 06 330 bmw got it to work right away. There was no mention if the guy had the idrive so i do not know if he had the options that a screen would give you. Any thoughts?

I wasn't disagreeing with you either... I just feel that Verizon (great coverage = yes) isn't being honest with it's customers and that's why I put those comments up. And you we're %100 right about the OBEX limitations but a lot of folks don't know what means until they realize that their new phone won't do what it's supposed to do.

One of my assistant coaches on my lacrosse team just got the 7250, and he was supposed to try it with my car after a game one day. We lost, everybody scattered to the winds, and that was it.
