brake light warning but no LEDs out...is there a fix?

I bought new third brake light.
left taillight is showing an annoying error, but they work. Must be some short or something in cables.

It is the rear right light unit. The entire unit needs to be replaced. If you search the forum you will see that it has been discussed several times.

rear RIGHT? My dash is saying real LEFT. ALl the lights work, it just gives an annoying beep everytime I start the car, and annoiyng dash warning that doesnt go away.
The outer portion, or portion on the trunk lid?
