C6 S6 Dashboard Rattles?
I've had my 2008 S6 for a week now and it has already been in the shop once to fix some rattles in the dash. After fixing the rattle around the instrument cluster, there's another one, somewhere between the MMI screen and the climate control. I tried to ignore it, but I can even hear it with the music on!
Is this typical? Will they ever go away? Or will I have to just deal with it?

no, rattles are not typical and should be addressed to your satisfaction.
my car with 50k miles is as quiet as the day I bought it.

I also have mine one week and no rattles. Only problem is the drivers widow operator "one touch up/down" doesn't work properly. All other windows are OK.

I've had mine for almost 10 months ....rock solid.
Take it in and tell them to do whatever needs to be done. In general reports on the C6 are that it is well built and tight with very few rattle-type issues.

did you try to re-program that one window???
In the C5, all you had to do was to hold the button so the window goes all the way down, then hold up the button so the window goes all the way up. Once that cycled through once holding the button all the way down/up, it would reset for one-touch up/down.

Just tried that proceedure and no go. I it will have to wait till the 5k service. I don't want to bring in the car just for that. It's not a major inconvenience.

Do you have a cup or anything in the cupholder?
I know this sounds funny, but I get sympathetic rattles on occasion with a cup in the cupholder. It sounds just like the noise is coming from the dash. The trick to finding this out is to lift the cup out of the holder while I hear the rattling and sure enough the rattle stops!
