I wanted to install the ami module on my 2006 a6 Quattro with nav according to the following instructions AMI/IPOD Retrofit for Audi MMI: March 2008
I talked to someone who was selling a ami retrofit kit and he told me that I cannot do the ami retrofit because my car is too old and wouldn't support it. He said I had to have a 2007 or newer car. Is this true? Any resources on which kit I should buy if I am able to do it?

The Denison is a good choice but you still may need to update the MMI. I had one in my 2006. I updated first so I am not certain about this. Call Enfig Car Stereo, they would know.
