I've turned it on in my '06 and it only activated once during an actual emergency stop when traffic went from 90+ to a standstill. The four way flashers came on and stayed until a few seconds after I was stopped.I don't know what the lights were doing in the back. I've tried to test it numerous times after I enabled it, and have been unable to get it to activate.

How does this work with the remote in 2005 Audi A6.
In other words, how does one lower or raise windows or open/close sunroof
with car remote?
Would this work with 2005 A6- 3.2L quattro?
Gurus here show below how to do the coding but wanted to know before the coding as to how this works with remote key.
1- Go into "46-Central Conv."
2- Click on "Coding"
3- Add 128 to whatever the number is in the "Software Coding" slot
4- Click "Do It"

Next Go into Adaptation
a. On top there is a drop-down window... select "Comfort Control" from that drop-down window
b. add 7 to the stored value (my original value was 8 and now it is 15)
c. Save it

He has a C7, you have a C6.

Sorry, I thought 2011 was the year they switched to C7... I have read elsewhere that the needle sweep couldn't be done on some C6's, I think 2008 and earlier cannot have it done.

Hold down the unlock button on the remote and in 2 seconds or so they will open. To close, hold down the lock button. Is that what you're asking?

and am also curious as to why this feature is not enabled from the factory, as I think it is a great feature to have.
