Car shuts off on its own. Anyone else had this problem?

Car shuts off on its own. Anyone else had this problem?
2008 A6 3.2 about 3800 miles. Standing at a light, foot on break, ready to go on green and noting. Engine shut off, all dummy lights went on and I had to restart the car. I have key less go, tech package and Premium.
This happened the first time in Mid February, and again 2 days ago. Thought nothing of it the first time but now it's a bit of a problem. Have a service appointment this Tuesday.

It is going to be hard for them to re-create the problem. Which isn't good for you..
However, I am looking forward to hearing the resolution, FWIW, I have not had this problem in my 05'.

Dealer took the car today and said they would repair the problem as there is a "software update" that can fix the issue. Lets see what happens.
