Default Chrome Window Trim

I'm tired of dealing with the oxidation issue with the window trim. I'm thinking of taking them off and wrapping them, but never actually done this one before. Any tips on getting them off before I realize I've broken a $50 clip or worse. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you're going to wrap them, don't bother to pull them off. It's just as easy to wrap the trim leaving it on the car. Tips? Make sure you have extra - you WILL make mistakes and pull off what you just put on to re-wrap. Do it in in a garage or covered space with temps around 60-80 degrees F. Too cold and the wrap becomes brittle and doesn't stretch easily. Too warm, and it tacks too quickly. Don't worry about small bubbles - they disappear over time. Larger ones can be popped with a pin. Most of all, don't rush it - take your time and have fun while doing it.
