Default Clicking when turning the wheel while stationary or at parking lot speeds?

When I turn the wheel near its max, I hear clicking coming from the front wheels(not sure if its one side or both). Only while parked, or at parking lot speeds. Also, steering doesnt feel as tight as it did a few months ago. . .it tends to want to pull one side or another when going over even minor imperfections at higher speeds. Balance has already been done.

Any ideas? Working 6 days a week and I havent had time to take it in to the dealer yet.

Default Are you serious?

I just posted about this 7 minutes before you! That's funny :-)

See below:::

CRACK noise sometimes during low speed (i.e. parking, etc.) lock to lock or near lock to lock turning of steering wheel. You start turning and then hear a loud CRACK and a vibration through stering wheel? Anyone?

Sounds like a worn tie rod end. It's a well known weak link with Audis. Should be an easy fix...

You don't mention mileage.
Clicking at low speed at high turning angle could be a failed CV boot and joint.

The steering issue could be worn tie rod ends.
Had mine replaced on my 00 model 4.2 around 50K miles.

Default Similar to mine

I get a similar clicking / cracking sound but only when outside temp is under 20F and just for the first few turns when leaving a park space. At higher temps and after driving a few blocks I never hear it.
