was away and got snowed in for an extra two days so that left the A6 exposed to the sub-zero weather here in Pgh for that extra amount of time. Adding insult to injury from my hellish trip, I came back in the wee hours to my vehicle that would not start at all. Turn the key, nothing, not even a sound. Push start ineffective. Tried to have it jumped, and nothing. Did seem like some juice came back to the the car after cables remained on for a while. MMI screen limps along to start. Radio works, CD changers is working. Did not try NAV. Also heard static on radio moving from speaker to speaker around the vehicle at the very beginning. Was told it was a battery issue, so bought a new battery with 900 CCA, put it in and still nothing although lights etc. are much brighter. Nothing happens when I have the key in. No dash lights except for red date time light to left of steering wheel and red mileage light to right of steering wheel. Nothing else turning on when key inserted. No lights on climate control unit either. Can access battery meter through MMI. Brand new Battery shows to measure low. Was told to turn key to start position and leave that way for 30 seconds without touching the brake to reset throttle. Did so, still nothing. Help guys. I need to get back to my family. Am I going to have a problem getting this towed as well with the shifter seemingly stuck in the Park position??? Ugh. I appreciate any feedback. Local Audi Dealership in very affluent part of Pittsburgh near airport. Fear I am going to get fleeced unless I have some knowledge going into this. Thanks, Ron
