Continental ExtremeContact DWS ok on my 05 A6?

I am looking at the 245/45/17's and they are not XL rated like the stock Pirelli's. Is it ok to go with these or should I stick with an XL rated tire?

XL = extra load, just compare the max. load on both tires, if they are the same, then it should be ok.
