Is it possible to convert the unused DRL socket in the bixenon fixture on an A6 4.2S to a separate high beam for additional light output?

If you are referring to this part of the headlight.
In the UK this lights up when you pull on the directional indicator stork so that you can signal to other road users.

Yes, that is the light I am talking about. How do I activate that on a US vehicle via VAG-COM, or is it possible to convert it to a dedicated high beam driving light?

either get someone to pull the directional indicator stork towards them while you stand at the front or park in front of a shop window and do it yourself to see what lights flash.

On UK models you have to push the stork foreword to get main beam, pulling the stork towards you flashes the lights with the arrow.
I asked if it was part of US options because on every American car that I have owned (Trans Am, Lincoln continental, Blazer & Tahoe) this flash feature does not exist.
