Definitely a manufacturer defect, mine was replaced, I would raise hell and make sure they do it!

I paid 200$ to have the dealer REPAIR it...wow...I should bring this up to Audi's attentioN! I want it replaced bc it looks horrible what they've done.

I have less than 50,000 miles on my car but over 12,000 miles. I am being told that the interior is only warrantied for the first 12,000 miles. So far though, my dealer has been great about the other interior problems I have had after 12,000 miles, so we will see.

My dealer, Audi Exchange in Highland Park, IL, basically said tough ****, not covered.

Got mine covered under the factory warranty, no issues.

Mine is not that bad, but I guess I know what it will look like if I don't get it fixed quickly.

Is the 06 inside door different then the 05, must be..my handle/grip used to close the door is way towards the front of the door?
Also..exactly what *fix are the dealers doing..will you have this problem again or is it an engineering fix from Germany that eliminates the stress which caused it?

I thought these Audi doors went thru a robotic million closures
