My 05 (in service Feb 06) with 35k mi. has this problem on the driver's seat on the seat-back and above the buttons on the side seat-bottom. The service manager emailed AoA and got approval for seat-cover replacements (as I understand it). The parts were ordered and are expected to be in next week, so hopefully that will take care of it.

What can we do to minimize the risk of this occurring? What products help prevent the cracking? Any ideas?
