Well I managed to go all of 1100 miles in my 05 3.2 before getting my first door ding. It's pretty minor, no paint damage and dime sized at best but still visible to my scrutinizing eye. I've never used any of the PDR folks before, but my dealer has Dent Wizard onsite and I am already thinking of having them take it out when I am in for the 5000 service. Any experience with them or other PDR? I have seen them hammering away at minor dents pretty frequently at high end dealerships on both used cars and new so I am guessing that it must work well.

I had 2 different PDR shops do things on my old C5 - one did an amazing job twice, the other a decent job, but left the car pretty dirty inside....
well worth trying especially if it's under the umbrella of your Audi dealer....
I have to do my C6 soon..... got one on each door.... going to do that, 3M for the front and tint all at once in the next month...

I haven't had any door dings on my Audi yet. Most dedicated ding repair places can probably repair a dent for no more than $100. Most of the dent removal I've gotten done was by the Jaguar dealer in Manhattan, and they charge a pretty hefty markup due to location and the fact that they had to call someone in to do the repairs (still less than $200 I think). That said, whoever they used was very good and was even able to blend in some touch up paint perfectly for a ding that went down to metal.

I've used Dent Wizard many times on my Audis and Porsches, with terrific results. If the surface is fairly flat you should have no issues. I'm having them do some work on my wife's Murano next week. They typically charge by the ding, so of you have more than one, try to get a quantity discount, which they are known to do.

I had MAJOR hail damage to my 2005 A6 4.2, 2003 BMW X5 and 2000 Ford Excursion - to the tune of $2,300 worth of paintless dent removal on EACH totaling $6,900. I too was skeptical, but ALL the vehicles came back in perfect shape, and you'd never know that they were damaged at all.
