Default dip stick levels
on my audi it has black plastic dip stick & 2 knobbles with oil beeing black
cannot see oil

Sometimes there is oil but is difficult to see on the dip stick -- hold it against light and it should be visible. If there is no oil on it then you will need to top it up.
