I don't have a VAG. If you think this might work, i could ask a dealer to try it. Thanks!

I am not sure if it will work, but thought it might be something to try. I am in North New Jersey and willing to help out if your near by. If not local, place a request in your regional forum and see if someone will help out. Some ask for beer and lunch some $25 others just help out.

So it's been awhile... Just wondering if "change wheels" kept the TPMS off when you had the other wheels installed without TPMS. I'm wondering if I can get around disabling TPMS with a Vag if I put winter wheels on without TPMS sensors.

Thanks for the update!

No, unfortunately, the light will come back on after a few starts. I have not found there to be any solution to this. Either live with the light or get some sensors put in..

Isn't disabling TPMS via a VAG-COM an option as well? Think I'm going to go that route... Thanks for letting us know that didn't solve it though!

Upon searching more and more I've just found people who say you can disable TPMS. Has anyone actually done it?? Or has everyone just given up and bought sensors?

I have not found one person who has done it on a C6. I've tried VAG but still could not fully disable it. I was only able to get rid of the TPMS menu items on my MMI, but the warning stayed on.

If anyone ever finds a way, please share..

It seems like it's never been done and confirmed - even Uwe says so:

So I ordered the sensors...
