Disappearing CD Text

Posted this the other week in the wrong forum...Here goes again:
I've noticed that my MMI is inconsistent about CD text, and lately, I can't get text to appear at all.
When I first got my car, CDs I'd burned displayed their track titles (as long as the files had been named on my computer when I burned the disc). Life was great. Now, I can't get the track titles to show up. To make things worse, the CDs that used to display track titles don't anymore. Seems like something has happened to my CD player for it to suddenly not recognize CD text.
Anyone had similar experiences? Any fixes?
Also, I was wondering if anyone is having problems naming CDs in the MMI. I create all of my CDs with the same software and the same brand/type of blank CDs. But the MMI will let me assign names to some and not others. I don't understand what difference it sees in the CDs if they're all created with the same media and methods.
Any ideas about that?
Thanks in advance!
Brian

Make sure cd text didn't get somehow turned off in the MMI, If I'm not mistaken this is under the cd player settings. Let us know if that was the issue or not. No problems here and I hope I don't, I love that feature!

I use Memorex Printable CD's and find that they dont read correctly in the D3 or C6 CD Changers, but will work 100% of the time in any other cdplayer or car.

*some* of my tracks stopped being named. That is to say, out of the 16 tracks on a CD, 13 of them are named, and three are not. This CD once had all songs named, and I haven't removed the CD from the changer between when all tracks were named and when some lost their names. The MMI setting is on so I don't understand it. Quite puzzling!

that is not DAO/96 on questionable media. A friend in the room here suggests doing a RAW burn at a slower burn speed...4x perhaps. Check your software.
