Hey thanks for the write up on the cabin air filter saved me alot of time looking around to find a easy way to change my filter, i till do it tomorrow hopefully i can pick up a filter some where thanks again.

hey where can i buy a fuel filter for a 05 a6 3.2 or any other replacement parts for the a6 any good web sites with decent pricing?

Go to your dealer if you want it right away or get it from genuinevwaudiparts.com. Put the year, make and model of your car and search "fuel filter." Get the one for the 3.2 liter. It's $27.20.

They are located in california I do believe so if your east coast it will probably take 5-7 days before you get it.

Actually it's on the bracket attached to car (that cap screws into). I missed it the first time but finally spotted it in a groove just above the 'male' threads on that bracket. Thanks for the great write-up, I'm planning to do plugs and air filter next.

Ok so it sounds like the little o-ring is on the housing attached to the car once you take the cap off. You must remove it from the housing that is connected to the car.

Probably doesn't make that much if a differnce (air or cabin filters). My car is under warranty so I am using OEM parts only.
