Yes the batter could drain, but it shouldn't take you that long to just change the pads. Remember these cars have big batteries also. I left my ignition accessories on just in case the system shut off. You shouldn't have any problems. Good luck

The picture was for demo purposes but I actually stuck a small block of wood in between the piston and clamp. The 100mm clamp wasn't wide enough to fit over the ebrake section so I had to use the little bolt (that's in the pic) and a block of wood which kept the c-clamp straight. Think I'll get that tool anyway...thanx.

Anyone have ny tricks on removing the 21mm carrier bolts? I can't seem to get those suckers off! They are on there tight. I tried some penetrating spray with no success. Damn, I was really wanting to get my Adams rotors and Akebono pads on tonight. Guess I'll have to try another time, running out of daylight.
