Default Does your A6 act like it may stall when decelerating from 60 to 0?

I drove my wife's 5 month old A6 yesterday and while decelerating from 60 to a full stop I got that sensation as if the car would stall. If you've driven manual you know what I mean. It's like keeping the car in 6th gear while your speed drops. It did it a couple of times. I kept my eye on the tachometer and the RPMS never fell below 600. In fact, the car seems to idle at around 650.

Thanks

Were you in "D" or "S" -- I usually drive in "S" and the downshifts happen sooner.

Default Re: It was doing that whenever I put the car in reverse

Since about 800 miles on my odometer I haven't had that problem. Every once in a while my CVT seems to act up not engaging properly & I have to give it more gas.
