Default Ebay led drls

Does anyone have experience with these ebay drls
Audi A5 Style LED Daytime Running Lights Volkswagen #77:eBay Motors (item 290351080929 end time Oct-17-09 15:58:23 PDT)

They look pretty nice and are cheap, has anyone tried them out?

I have an unused pair of the REAL LED's for the C6, e me if you're interested. I'd hate to see that e bay crap on an Audi.

i would watch out for the ebay ones... they show oem leds in 30 pictures then 1 picture of a small led strip which is nothing like the oem leds.

get oems for a clean look -- they may even look decent without the s6 bumper... i like the s6 look but i'm biased

the OEM's are too long and wont fit the regular bumper grills. yes the S6 LEDs do look nice but its way too much work involved for some extra lights IMO

I don't know how the general consensus here came to be but OEM doesn't necessarily equal quality. Many may disagree with me but with so many stories and threads of parts breaking, needing replacement + dealer fixes, our parts are far from quality, assuming you're defining quality as reliable and long lasting. In my eyes, its all in the Spirit of Customizing, given its not done in moronic ways. Prefer OEM look? fine, but makes one think why didnt just save a little money and get an S6 in the first place? ...plus its faster i heard.

Not hating on the Jazznut or others for the bumper conversion, i give my hats off to them for putting the time and effort to do that. But once its outside the realm of OEM, people here frown on it...geez tough crowd

I agree that the OEM ones are way nicer but they aren't for an A6 I am actually looking at them for a 997 Carrera. My plan is to use them inside the foglight housing and these are the only ones that will fit (wish the OEM ones did).

Default Yuck. Many led installs look terrible.

They look even worse on a 997. Yuck.

These are better from RUF at $3,495
