Default Emission control system warning indicator on

Hi hope someone can help me out here!

i drive a 2.0tdi se saloon with engine code BRE. The warning indicator came on tonight on the way home and the performance of the engine has been significantly reduced. I am hoping its nothing too serious though i have noticed a slight rattling of the exhaust. Being a diesel i don't think it has a cat converter, but has a diesel particulate filter, which according to the booklet should be self cleaning. Is this someting that can be corrected using vagcom or do i need to take it to a dealer/garage and part with yet more money. I need to travel in it this weekend so a quick response would be most appreciated. I have scanned and got the 2 fault codes:

001032 - EGR- Potentiometer (G212) : Signal too high

and

001027 - EGR - Valve (N18) : Malfunction
I have attached the print out.

Any advice would`be most appreciated.

i couldn't find anything on my benteley manual for P0403 - maybe because mine is a 3.2 petrol version. maybe u should check ross-tech website for that error code.

hmmmm, i know this is out of context but im getting fault codes realed to the voltage and almost all lead to the control module wiring or something....

this is it

00532 - Supply Voltage B+

00532 - Supply Voltage B+: Signal too Low

Possible Causes
Wiring/Connectors from/to Control Module faulty
Power Supply (Battery/Generator) faulty

Possible Solutions
Check/Repair Wiring/Connectors from/to Control Module
Check Power Supply (Battery/Generator)

Special Notes
When found in an individual control module, it's most likely a local source (e.g. wiring/connectors).
When found in multiple control modules at the same time, it's most likely a common source (e.g. ground spot, battery, generator).
Intermittent codes are often stored during low outside temperature when the battery capacity goes down and may be ignored.
Common with 16946/P0562/001378 - System Voltage: Too Low stored in other control modules.

i was wondering if u can check in bentley where are they located.
i would really appreciated it.
many thanks...
