Engine oil over fill...
This is my fourth Audi. I have an A4 and A6 both with 3.2 FSI now. Consistently, I have observed that after each scheduled service, the dealer always fill the oil above the max mark. So, by luck I got one these oil extractor as a gift last year and decided to do an informal experiment with it.
In all four cases (the A4 and the A6 each went through two services already), I had to remove about 1 US quart (about 1 liter) so that the oil is lowered just at the max mark. Can this be good?
I also notice that the oil is VERY dark after an oil change. I mentioned this to the Audi people when they call after each service.

Oil Extractor
