Default ESP Fault / Extremely Rough Idle

Driving @ 30, after braking it says ESP Fault in the center information panel, and gives EXTREMELY rough idle/vibrations during any engine rpm while still or driving.

I'm guessing its the coil pack recall? Or something else?

Probably the coil packs as you surmised.

If your Engine light is on and it idles rough, it's quite likely the coil pack recall issue. I just went through that with my 05 4.2L. I believe getting the Check Engine light automatically turns off ESP.. it did in my case. How many miles do you have on your car?

Edit: You don't actually say wether your Engine light is on or not. It may actually be a stuck Intake Manifold Flap or a faulty flap motor. My cousin just went through that with his 04 C6 3.2L in Europe.

Yes the CEL orange ind is on along with the rough idle.
Is this recall in Canada as well, just in case my dealer tries to rip me off? I've got about 50K
