Question - I'm also in the PNW(Orygun) and just noticed the front WA. License plate is not installed. Any tickets or hassles from the men in blue or green (aka the Law)???

I just bought a 2009 A6 and the front grill has no horizontal band for mounting a license plate. I recall reading, at least in Oregon, the DMV requires plates front and rear. The front plates certainly spoil the looks, imho. I just don't know if it is a ticket waiting to happen and something I need to hassle with?

Thanks, Kenreau! Nice to see another PNW-er up here. I've never had any issues with my lack of front plate. As long as you get a filler for the grille, they seem to ignore it altogether. Also seeing as the A6 is in an older age demographic, they leave it alone.

Mike, that video is so badass! I've never seen an A6 look so good. I need to upgrade to the S8 bumper/led ASAP!

Is the exterior paint oem?

Can you share with us what the polish & wax system it is detailed with? That liquid / glass like finish really pops.

Thanks! I was at the Ghostland Observatory show at the Capitol Hill Block Party a few weeks ago. A guy in front of me tried to hop the railing, then was promptly knocked back by an overzealous security guard...right into my forehead. Had a nice gash (and subsequent scar) for a week or so.

As far as the image in my signature, I simply typed the code [ img ]http://www. insertyourphotohere .com[/ img ] and put the link to a photo. Remove the spaces to use those tags.
