I have a 2005 A6 3.2Q and was wondering if anyone knew how to drive with just the fog lights on.

I can only pull out the selector when its in the farthest right position.

You can't. Just curious-why would you want to?

We have some driving snow/sleet/rain here in CO sometimes and my last Mitsubishi could run the fog lights by themselves. It made visibility a lot better in that specific situation. Its a once/twice a year thing tho.

I believe you can't. But you could bypass with another harness and switch. But that will be a lot of work.

it can be done with a bypass, but to be frank the only folks I see driving around with their fogs on tend to be labeled 'douche' due to them leaving them on on beautiful sunny days. considering you cited only needing them once a year or so, I'd give it a pass.
