White bulbs will never be as bright as yellow one because they are tinted, assuming they are the same wattage.

No it should not give "bulb out errors" because they are just halogen lights H11 55W just like the stock one is.

I'll post some pictures after installation this weekend. I think they are compariable with the yellow halogen stock bulbs.

As promised a few pictures:

Stock:

50/50 (left xenonlook.com bulb, right stock)

After:

Focus on the lightunits to show the color of the foglights and DRL

Focus on the whole car to show the "beam" of the foglights and DRL

Foglights pre-facelift have H7 socket and the facelift model has H11.

Looks very well SkyBuMp. I am going to do the same thing soon. From the picture if looks like your DRLs and Fog Lights match but is it so in reality?

P.S. Amsterdam is great

Ah sorry for my incorrect information then! I did not know that the US models would be different from the EU models!

They match up really nice in reallife!! For sure...

First I was not really convinced about the improvement... when I saw the difference between stock and the xenonlook.com lights. But in the dark the difference was even bigger. Pretty white and even the beam is pure white! I love it .

They are not as bright as the stock yellows. Here's why :-

This is a very good site and although I started this thread it has turned me off the idea of changing bulbs.

2008 type bulb

2009 type bulb
Your comment confused me and now I don't know what to order. I got 2008 Audi A6 US Specs and want to replace fob light bulbs. You saying 2008 have H11 but Sylvania tells me it's H7. Who to believe? Guess my own eyes after I take the fog light apart lol
