I think folding mirrors is the coolest thing since sliced bread lol

I drove few time in Paris where everything is so tight and you have to parallel-park and without folding mirrors someone on the moped will snap the mirrors off.

it is a cool feature, having folding mirrors would be even nicer though.

I wonder what is required in adding the additional relays...

On my 08 A6 I just turn the mirror switch one click counterclockwise when it is in the drivers mirror position and I am stopped. To all, it is one of the best options on the car if you need to back into a tight garage on a regular basis.

I have an 06 a6q s-line,tech and premium pkgs. Do you know or where to find the vag-com coding to have them auto fold in on key off position? I hope I was reading this thread correctly and this is possible.

Thanks,
Bob

No, in the 6 o-clock position they fold in imediatly then you have to turn the **** back to top in order to make the mirrors turn out again.

Well yeah they do that. Here we are trying to make them to fold automatically when the car is locked.

What's this world coming to when a grown man is unwilling to lift his left hand a bit and twist a small **** to enable a wanted function on his luxury automobile?

Do you want the toilet to automatically wipe your *** for you when you've sufficiently voided?

Stop being lazy, ****!

For me its not the laziness issue its more of a challenge to make it work. I like working on cars. Also sometime I, and I am sure few others, forget to fold them when parallel park somewhere in Munich.
