Why are we even discussing Ford VS Audi...?!
Mack truck has more horse power, but no one really cares.It is like comparing Timex watch to Rolex...
In my opinion this is totally irrelevant comparo.
Of course there may be a car that is "faster", "more powerful", "handles better", but at the end of the day it is the whole package that counts.
Ford is a good car, and good for them, but really... does it compare at all?!
Just my two cents...

It's a marketing tactic - showcase your product next to a higher level product and create an idea among the consumers that they are comparable. it works most of the time but has a very small incremental benefit for the lower end brand.
