that option only controls doing it with the key in the door...
at least as far as I can tell on my car... of course the age old question is going to crop up here... what MMI version do you have?

Not sure what I am looking at. Is this a code you can enter yourself somehow? I'd love to disable the seatbelt gong.
On my old A4, the dealer programmed this stuff (auto door lock, auto windows via remote, etc.) in with some kind of electronic device.
Where/how can I get thsi done on my A6?

You need a VAG-COM interface.
