Are the HD 14mm front caliper carrier bolts and 12mm rear caliper carrier bolts SINGLE USE?
As we know on C6s, you need to take off the caliper carrier to take off the discs. Some vendors speak of the bolts as single use and encourage you to buy new ones with each rotor change. They are high strength, shoulder bolts, about $5 each for the front and $4 each for the rear.
They do not appear to be stretch bolts, since they just torque to 90 ftpds and no angle. And I have never seen Locktite on them. I had planned on reusing them and just putting on some good old blue locktite. If necessary, $36 will not break the bank.
For 2011's, the numbers are N90876802 and N91126801
I do not have a Bentley for C6s so, so I am curious.

If they were stretch one time use the directions would read "torque to 90 ft/lbs then another 1/4 turn" or so.

If you read Audi repair manual, it will tell you to replace those caliper bracket bolts with new bolts. I reused mine before without any problem but i will new bolts in at my next brake job.

Thanks Roy and others. I have bought other odd bolts from the dealer, based on Bentley or ElsaWin recommendations, and the VAG parts guys think I am nuts. A little locktite blue never hurts.
