headlight Adjusting
hi, one my 05 a6, i have addaptive bi xenon headlights, but in the high beams they seem to be a little upward, like aiming on UFO's lol... well not that high, but i was wondering if there is a way DIY to lower them a bit.

Mine are high as well but I think that's the purpose, lol. But if you have vag you can follow these directions to reset the level. If that doesnt work to your satisfaction you have to use the adjusting/mounting screws to position your headlights the way you want them. Pain in the *** and not worth it IMO as you have to take off your bumper and get the alignment just right (within audi specs). Plus if you do this it will more than likely throw off the spread of your low beams.
Headlight Adjustment
[Select]
[55 - Xenon Range]
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 001
[Go!]
Activate the Basic Setting.
[ON/OFF/Next]
The meas. block field now shows "Wait" and should switch to "Adjust Headlights" then (this may take up to 10 seconds).
Adjust the headlights using their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target.
[ON/OFF/Next]
The adjustment should now be learned.
[Done, Go Back]
Don't forget to check/clear fault codes afterwards.
