Standard seats are wider then sport... Maybe u have sport seats. As far as softness... I am not sure if one is softer then the other... That said. ... I've sat in newer model year A6s w standard seats and they DID seem softer then my standard seats. Maybe they used more foam or different foam or maybe mine just flatted out over the years...
