Hood/Grille Gap a little large

Hey gang - very helpful board here, thanks for all the help these past few days.
I scuffed my front bumper and had it repainted... see thread from here @ https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2780709
Anyways, I have it all back together and the gap between hood and grille is just a little bit too large. Otherwise hood / fender and alignment is perfect. I read on the B7 A4 forum about adjusting A4 bumpers... how might I accomplish this on my 2005 A6?
Also -- unfortunately the paint (oyster grey met.) doesn't 100% match. Grr. The newly painted bumper is perfect... they did a FANTASTIC job, stripped it down, fixed it, but the paint is too light. I know its going to drive me crazy. Of course I was trying to save money and I know it wont be 100% spot on because of painting plastic / painting metal differences, but its pretty far off. Crap. I'll post pics up shortly. I may take it to the bodyshop to see if they can respray the bumper a darker shade. I dont want to get into blending the fenders and hood. Been there, done that, looked like crap 5 years later on an old car.
