Horn not sounding when alarm is set
Good morning. I am new here, but have an issue that is prevalent with my 2016 A6. When I lock my doors, the horn does not sound. The lights flash and the doors are locked. All I hear is a chirp. The same thing with the Panic button on the key fob. Has anyone experienced this and have a DIY solution?

The "chirp" is the sound it makes when you lock the doors. No horn.
If you do not hear a chirp and the LED in the door just flashes, then one of the doors, trunk or hood is not locked.

Found out my siten horn is not working. Ordered a new one and awaiting for it to come in. The chirp should be louder and the panic button horn does not work. Car is under warranty and it will cost me nothing but a couple of hours time. Thank you all for your time and patience. I will get better in this Forum with time. Have a great day on purpose.
